And the waiting continues and comes to a hault

So my HSG test went good. My tubes are all clear. I actually had to go there twice. The first time the doctor couldn't get the tube or whatever in the right position, so after being poked and prodded at for about 45 minutes, they sent me home and I had to return the next day. Took that lady all of 10 minutes to complete the test....oh well. They gave me a $25 Barnes and Nobles gift card since it was such a pain and I had to come back, lol. But yeah, tubes are all clear. We went back to the fertility doc, and now we have to do all the other test. Steve needs to get his sperm checked and I need to have my eggs checked. We were planning on doing those in a couple weeks, but now we can't. Since insurance covers nothing fertility related, we just can't afford it. We are having a really hard time financially right now. We are hoping by July we will be back on our feet, we just have to make it until then! But yeah, so all the baby stuff is being put off. Oh, and I have been doing ovulation testing with the pee on a stick things. And yeah...I am not ovulating this month, or I missed it I guess. That worries me a lot, but I can't worry about it now because there is nothing we can do about it. We don't have the money to get anything checked and won't for a while, so we will have to just wait and see. Hopefully I will just get pregnant sometime in the next year or so and then we won't have to go back to the fertility doc for now.
But on a positive note, it has been beautiful outside! I have been enjoying just sitting outside, it is so nice! And we have grass to sit and play on, it's great. Lorelai has been enjoying it as well. She plays with her next door neighbor friend Raylee so that is fun. We have bbqed with Lindsay and Britton(our friends and next door neighbors) as well, so that has been fun. I see a lot of hot dogs and hamburgers in our future! Especially since Lorelai LOVES hot dogs. Who knew? Not me. She will eat about 1 1/2 every time we eat them, no bun, just the dog. At least it is meat....well sort of, haha!
Steve has a business trip in CA coming up. His meetings and stuff are Monday-Thursday or something, so he decided to take both weekends surrounding that and stay in CA and visit with his family. He will be gone 10 days, which is a lot, but I thought it would be good for him to spend sometime with his family without Lorelai and I there competing for time. (Whenever we go on vacation I actually want to see my husband since that is the only vacation time he gets off) It would have been fun to go, but it's ok, I don't mind staying behind. Lorelai and I will find fun stuff to do. There is something that makes me sad though. He planned this trip a couple months ago and at the time didn't realize that he would be gone for Mother's Day. Well, he comes home that night, but not until around 9pm. It's a bummer, I wish we would have realized that, but to late now. He says we will just celebrate the next day...but it won't be the same. Oh well.

I'm sorry you guys can't afford to do anything more with this. I hope you end up just not needing it like you said! I'm glad it's been nice weather though, and that you have friends next door. I am a little jealous! Maybe you and Lorelai can finally get some sleep with Steve out of town, haha :) Love ya! Hang in there!

I'm sorry things are so expensive and that things financially are so hard right now. Like Lisa said, I hope that you end up NOT needing to go back to the fertility doctor! Yay for nice weather though - I know for me it totally boosts my mood and makes me a better mom when the weather is nice!
