And baby Hatch's name is....

So, I think we have settled on a name! Lincoln Foster Hatch. We got Lincoln off of the tv show Prison Break. (Yes, some people name their kids after prophets or bible people, we name our kids after tv characters, lol) And Foster is Steve's dad's middle name, so it is a Hatch thing. I like his name more and more the more I hear it.
So the last couple days I have started to really feel little Lincoln move! It is so cool, it is my favorite part about being pregnant. He still doesn't move a whole ton, but enough to make me happy. I can't wait until Steve and Lorelai will be able to feel him move though. It will be fun to see what Lorelai thinks about that. I think she is starting to understand a little bit more that a baby is going to come live with us. Today her and I were going through baby clothes pulling out all boy clothes that we could find from Lorelai's stuff. I actually found a couple brand new boy outfits that I had, I must have bought them before I knew what I was having with Lorelai, and I'm sure they were on clearance! I still haven't bought Lincoln one new thing yet though! I have been looking, but I haven't found anything that I had to have, at least not in my price range! There are a ton of cute boy clothes out there, but you have to pay a pretty penny for them! And I don't go shopping much, so I don't get to do my clearance shopping as much as I did for Lorelai. Oh well, we have some clothes coming from family and my Mom is coming in Novemember and I have a feeling Lincoln will get a couple new outfits then!
So we have been potty training Lorelai for a couple weeks now. She has done AMAZING!!! She has had a total of 5 accidents in a 2 week period! I think that is pretty amazing! She was telling me when she had to go by day 3. We did the candy thing and she stopped wanting candy on day 4, she just wanted to go potty. She is awesome! I'm so proud of her! She still ask for a diaper to go poo, or just poos her pants, but I think she is doing pretty awesome! She is over 3 now, but she just wasn't ready before. It made such a huge difference waiting until she was ready. She got trained right away. We had tried a few times before with no success. But it was worth it to wait!
Steve and I painted the kitchen last weekend. It is a really pretty dark red. Oh did we have some problems though. Well we found the PERFECT color on clearance and Steve assured me that we would have enough...well he should have listened to me because we didn't! And since it was on clearance we didn't know what color it was, and the paint came from Wal-Mart...so needless to say we weren't able to match it just right. We are going to go to HomeDepot sometime though and see if they can color match it with their color match technology. It looks pretty good though, there are a few spots where you can tell the color is a little off on the main wall, but it isn't bad. On the wall with the sliding glass door though, ha, that wall looks ridiculous! Well, if you look at it from far away it looks fine, so if you come to my house, just keep your distance from that wall and you won't be able to tell a thing! I do love the color though, it makes me happy to walk into my kitchen and see some color!
Steve also put our back lawn in. It looks really good! He did such an amazing job. And he pretty much did it all by himself! Our neighbor Britton did help a bit, and I attempted to help a couple times, but for the most part, Steve did it all himself. He worked so hard for a couple weeks getting it all done. He is so awesome. He would come home from work and just go right outside until it got dark and worked on the yard. He is a very good husband and father. He works so hard for us and wants to make us happy. I'm a lucky lady to have him!!
I have to say, I'm pretty happy with my life. I have an awesome husband, and amazing little girl, and a sweet little boy on the way. We have a beautiful home, and my husband has a good job. We have wonderful family and friends, what more could we ask for?? Sure money is tight, and I get lonely sometimes having no family around, but life is great! I feel really blessed.
