Another month and still not pregnant. I'm really sad and frustrated. I've been crying tonight(Steve hasn't noticed yet, I haven't told him). I'm so tired of all this trying and just nothing coming of it. I'm so sad. The worst part of it is the hoping and letting myself think that I am pregnant just to be disappointed. I don't know what else to do. We have the ovulation kits and all that. I'm just so frustrated!!!!! But enough about that...
So we went to CA a couple weeks ago. We had a really good time. We spent time with Steve's family. We usually see my brother Rich and his family, but unfortunatley that didn't work out this time. It is fun to spend time with Steve's family. We always play the Wii a lot. We bring ours down everytime we go and we golf and bowl most of the time. We also got to go to Pleasanton 1st ward. Both Steve and I both grew up going to that ward, so it was fun to see everyone that still lives there. I always feel very at home going to church there. Lorelai also had fun seeing the animals that her grandma and grandpa have on their property. Horses, cows, chickens and lots of stray cats!!
Our drive home was a pain in the butt!! There was a storm coming so we tried to head out before it hit, but we failed! The roads and stuff actually weren't bad at all, but because Californians are afraid of the snow, we got stuck having to put chains on. We did come prepared though. On our way out of town we bought some chains from wal-mart. We have done many many trips to CA and have never had to use them(we always returned them when we got back home). So Steve got out in the slush and tried getting the chains on. He tried and tried but just couldn't do it. Turns out we bought the wrong size chains. Apparently we have some monster wheels on our little car or something! So we got ripped off and had to end up buying some chains at a gas station. They were about $70 so it was an unexpected pain financially. But oh well. We got home safe, that's all that matters. Lorelai was so super good. She is such a good kid. She just sat quietly in the back, watched a couple movies on the laptop or slept. We are so lucky.
So we have been home for a week or so now. I've been working hard on keeping the hous clean. I've been doing pretty good! A lot better than I have ever done I think. I have also been working out a lot which has been nice. We bought a new toy! We bought a 50 inch plasma for downstairs. Steve has some of his video games down there and we watch movies down there too. All we have left to buy is a couch or a futon or something for down there and then we will be done buying things for the house for a long time!! Buying the tv was a luxory, but we got a really good deal on it, so we decided to do it now. Tax refunds are coming soon, and we have no intrest payments for 6 months, so we will get it completly paid off before then!
Well I guess that is about it for the last month or so. I haven't really taken any pictures or anything but I will try to do better with that. My mom and sister are coming in a couple weeks, so that will be fun. Time for a little bit of girl time! I really need it!!
